Warranty labor claims are to be submitted only for the replacement of a defective component part within the applicable warranty period. Rinnai pays a flat rate for completed repairs.
For reference, Rinnai’s standard flat rate reimbursement is:
• $300.00 USD for parts replacement
• $450.00 USD for unit replacement or heat exchanger replacement
Any charges exceeding these rates MUST be
pre-approved and documented in the case by Rinnai Technical Support or your
Regional Service Manager.
Unit's manufacture warranty provided does NOT cover
the following: Improper installations, gas system issues, debris, bugs,
cleaning, adjustments and general maintenance, diagnostic trip only, service
overtime, travel time or for incomplete calls due to the need to order a
replacement part.
Warranty labor claims MUST be submitted within 45 days
from the completion of service.
Rinnai appreciates you for your patience and
understanding as our warranty team is diligently processing your request.
Please be aware claims are processed in the order in which they are received
and due to current volume, you may experience up to a 60 day lead-time on
reimbursement of claims.
